About Paramedicl and Cosmetic Tattoos

What is a Cosmetic Tattoo?

A cosmetic tattoo is also called permanent makeup. This type of tattoo enhances natural features such as eyebrows, lips, and eyelash lines. These treatments create long-lasting definition with soft, natural results.

What is a Paramedical Tattoo?

A Paramedical tattoo is a specialized procedure designed to restore color, create realism, or camouflage scars after surgery, injury, or medical treatment. Services include areola restoration, scar camouflage, and stretch mark blending!

Why do people get Cosmetic or Paramedical Tattoos?

People choose these services to restore confidence, reduce daily makeup routines, or improve areas that have been affected by surgery, medical conditions, or alignment. Cosmetic and paramedical tattooing can create natural enhancement or realistic restoration.

Do you do regular tattoos?

I do not offer traditional body art tattoos. I specialize exclusively in cosmetic and paramedical tattooing, providing services designed to enhance natural features or improve areas affected by surgery, medical conditions, or scarring.

Before Appointment

What if I just got Botox?

You should wait 3 weeks before or after your eyebrow appointment to get Botox.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash and Card are accepted.

Please note: Card Payments incur a 3.5% processing fee.

Can I drink alcohol or caffeine before my appointment?

Please avoid both for 24 hours prior. They can make you bleed more easily, increase sensitivity, and negatively affect results.

Can I use retinol before my appointment?

Avoid retinol and all active skincare ingredients for 1 week before your appointment. Basic Skincare is best!

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

Yes! You may wear your usual makeup unless you're getting eyeliner, in which case please come with no eye makeup.

How long after surgery before I am ready for an areola tattoo?

Post-surgery clients typically wait 6-12 months before areola restoration tattoos.

How do I get my areola restoration tattoo covered by insurance?

Contact your health insurance provider and ask about coverage using these CPT codes:

11920

11921

11922

Provide Taylor’s NPI#: 1528857968

If insurance doesn’t cover it, ask Taylor about applying through the Hope and Olive nonprofit for restorative tattoo’s.

During Appointment

How long does the initial eyebrow appointment take?

Plan for about 2.5 hours, though this can vary per client.

What soap is best for washing my brows or tattoos?

Use a small amount of anti-bacterial soap - we recommend Dial. The fewer dyes and fragrances, the better!

After Appointment

Can I use retinol after my appointment?

Avoid applying retinol directly on your tattooed areas permanently, as it can fade the pigment.

How long do I wait before my touch up appointment?

Your touch up is usually scheduled 6-10 weeks after your initial session.
